Marcel van Dam, a well-known Dutch TV personality, made an unsuccessful attempt to have his presence removed from the movie before the premiere. The movie uses an excerpt from a discussion program in which he calls Pim Fortuyn "an inferior human being" in his face.
A wide shot of the Binnenhof in The Hague shows the Hoftoren (the building of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science). This building was finished in September 2003 and wasn't visible in the skyline of The Hague in May 2002.
The wide shot of the Media Park in Hilversum shows building cranes. At the time of the murder these weren't there and the trees next to the parking lot where Fortuyn was murdered, which are visible in news footage in the movie, were later cleared and dug out to make way for new buildings.
Jim's daughter is 16 years old and we are told that Jim was 17 when she was born, so Jim cannot be older than 32 or 33. But the APB on him (on the computer) states that Jim is 35.
