Jennifer Garner tells Steve Carell to "stop drop and roll" when his shirt is on fire. This is shortly after she had met Dick Van Dyke, who appeared for years in fire safety P.S.A.s promoting "stop drop and roll".
When Alexander's dad gets his shirt sleeves caught on fire, no one in the entire packed restaurant offered to help or showed any sign of alarm, only his family. Everyone else sat back and stared. Realistically, there would be reactions and an employee at the restaurant would be held liable to getting a fire extinguisher. There also was no emotion when the situation was handled by the dad finally soaking his arms in the fish tank. The people had no morals or concern if Alexander's dad was okay. They acted as if there wasn't anything to worry about.
Throughout the entire movie, while the characters are on their cell phones, the screen is lit up. On these makes of cell phones (iPhone) when the phone is held to your ear, the screen goes black. The screen only lights up when the phone is removed from your ear.
After Kelly walks in on Anthony in the bathroom, she turns and hits her arm/wrist on the door frame of her bedroom. Later when she says goodbye to Alexander and the family, she says that her foot is killing her.
