Flying Car Films, Bad Robot Productions and Warner. Bros Television have been given a series order by FOX for the new sci-fi drama television series "Almost Human. Casting for guest starring, new recurring, and day player roles will be ongoing throughout the season, as will the extras and stand-ins. The series takes place 35 years into the future when humans in the LAPD are each teamed up with realistic androids, and a detective who has a distaste for robots ends up being teamed up with one that has human-like emotions.
