Trivia
In episode 104 ("Francine's Flashback"), we find out that Francine was 20 in 1985. We can draw from this that Francine was born in 1965, and that in the cartoon she is around 40 years old. This is confirmed in Episode 123 ("Tears of a Clooney"), in which it is Francine's 39th birthday.

In some episodes, the opening sequence is shortened severely, and the final few seconds (the flag and the accompanying "Good morning, USA!") of animation is all that remains.

Goofs
In one episode Toshi marries the Russian mail order bride. Yet he claimed in an earlier episode he had an arranged marriage waiting for him in his homeland.

In the first episode, the man whose brain was switched with Klaus's is shown at the 1986 Winter Olympics. There was no Winter Olympics in 1986; Winter Olympics were held in the same years as Summer Olympics (for example, 1984 in Sarajevo, and 1988 in Calgary) until 1994.

Q
Where is Roger from?
A
He has rarely mentioned his home planet, except to say that he worked as a greeter at a Wal-Mart-style department store, and has also shown an affinity for cold, indicating that his planet may be colder than Earth (or at least has a cold region) - in "Of Ice and Men" he said he learned to ice-skate on his planet, and that snow reminds him of his homeworld.
Q
Why do they have an alien?
A
Roger's space ship landed in Roswell, New Mexico, U.S. in mid-1947, and he has lived on Earth ever since. At one point he was being held captive by the CIA in a government facility at Area 51, and he tried to escape. Stan, a CIA agent, found him, then knocked himself unconscious, and Roger ended up saving Stan's life when government officials threw grenades into the room. Stan was so grateful when he woke up that he agreed to give Roger refuge, by letting him move in with his family.
Q
What's that coloured thing on their refrigerator?
A
A fridge magnet which indicates the current Homeland Security Advisory System level, which ranges from green (lowest) through blue, orange, yellow to red (highest); an indication of Stan's obsession with terrorism and national security.
