QWhat are the differences between the theatrical version and the unrated edition?
AUnlike part 1 and 2, this film did not require cuts to get the R-rating by the MPAA for the theatrical release. The producers decided to create a new, longer version for the DVD release, though. With more than 8 minutes of new material this version adds more humor and sexual content to the film. A detailed comparison between both versions can be found here.
AThanks to Stifler and the football team, the flowers are replaced, and the wedding goes off without further problems. As Michelle and her father walk down the aisle, Grandma (Angela Paton) is in good spirits, thanks to Stifler. Stifler supplies the ring, and Michelle and Jim say their vows. On the dance floor, Jim shows his new movements, thanks to Stifler's coaching. Finch is surprised when Stifler's mom (Jennifer Coolidge) shows up and invites him to her suite upstairs. In the final scene, Justin (Justin Isfeld) and John (John Cho) peek in the window and watch Finch making love to Stifler's Mom.
