Anolit is a dynamite type. The director thought 'Dynamite' was too boring for a film name, and asked a blasting firm for other names.

Anolit is the most commonly used explosive in Norwegian tunnels and is more straightforward to use than dynamite.

The grocery store in front of which the characters hang out at beginning of the film is nicknamed "Spikkern" by local residents, and often offered a hangout for the director and his bike when he was a child.
