Unlike most animated series, much of the characters on the show often change outfits and even hairstyles whenever a new day comes in each episode.

The characters Carl, Dodie, Macie, Courtney, and Miranda are named and based off of the show creator Emily Kapnek's old school friends and family.

The two part episode "The Wedding Frame" is the series finale to the show. Nickelodeon didn't originally want the show to end the show after the episode and wanted the staff to change the ending to the episode just in case there were more seasons renewed. After a few agreements, the network decided to let the original ending to the episode.
