The difference between the two time periods visited; 1931 & 1986; is 55 years. This is another nod to the movie trilogy, which was partially set in 1955.

The game takes place on May 16, 1986 and October 12, 1931.

During the episode 5 preview shown during the end credits, the title is misspelled as "Outtatime".

When Marty first talks to young Emmett in 1931 in front of the barbershop, the car parked in front of the barbershop and the car parked in front of the courthouse have the same license plate number.

On the Future diorama at the expo, a close-up of the clock face shows the reflection of walls, windows and a doorway of a room as seen from the interior, even though the clock is placed outdoors.
