Trivia
The second time Terry confronts Tim Drake, he is a hologram. Dean Stockwell, the voice of Drake, played a character who was usually a hologram on Quantum Leap (1989).

Although the Joker is generally thought to have been destroyed for good in this movie, he is not actually completely gone, as he has a still-living counterpart in an alternate universe introduced in the "Justice League" episode, Justice League: A Better World: Part II (2003), in which the Joker has been lobotomized by that dimension's Superman and now serves as the superintendent of Arkham Asylum. However, this alternate Joker's status, by the time of the movie, is unknown.

When Bruce is checking the future-Joker's voice against that of the past-Joker, the clip is a newly animated (but previously scripted) segment from "Holiday Knights", which was the first episode of the redesigned Batman cartoon that appeared on the WB network.

Q
How far in the future is "Batman Beyond" set?
A
"Batman Beyond" takes place about 40 years after the "New Batman Adventures" series. At the time of the show's release a precise date was given as 2039. Meaning Bruce Wayne quit being Batman in 2019 (as seen in ''Rebirth''). This also means the episode, ''Epilogue'' takes place in the year 2056. Terry McGinnis himself has a given birth-date of 2023.
Q
What are the differences between the Regular Version and the Original Uncut Version?
A
Due to a political uproar against violence in animated movies at that time Warner Bros. canceled the release and edited the movie to a version that was then released worldwide. In the beginning of 2001 the original and uncensored version was released in the USA, on top of that in Anamorphic Widescreen while earlier releases had been only presented in Fullscreen. A detailed comparison between both versions with pictures can be found here.
