The subtitle of the film is "Through the Portal of Time" however the film is not about traveling through a time portal of any kind at all. It is actually about traveling through a portal to a parallel universe where the 1991 Earth exists in.

Goofs

At the end, just before Dar returns in his world, Jackie's car is facing the wall. After Dar leaves, the car is on the other side.

In the first film, Dar's symbol is on his left hand. In this film, it's on his right hand, as seen in the battle against the creature, at about 19:20.

During the closing credits the Beastmaster can be seen running in front of the sunset with the tiger by his side. This sunset is actually a painted backdrop, and after some time the tiger pauses for moment showing that they are only moving on the spot.
