While some characters in the series are portrayed by different actors (such as Topanga's parents), some actors portray multiple characters. Herschel Sparber first appears in episode 2.10 (Sister Theresa) as a delivery guy who delivers gifts from TK to Cory. He then appears later that season as Shawn's Uncle Mike in "By Hook or by Crook," and then later makes his last appearance as Uncle Mike in Season 3 ("The Pink Flamingo Kid"). Julius Carry first makes his appearance in season 5 as a college professor of a class that Shawn is taking while still in high school but then reappears as Angela's father first in season 6 and then later in season 7. Thirdly, Phil Leeds makes three appearances as a minor character, first in the season 4 premiere as the guy at the truck stop who says, "I was only three hours from home"; secondly as the game show announcer on an episode later in season 4 (the only episode where his character's name is not Phil); and, lastly, he appears in season 5 as the manager of the mail room in which Cory and Shawn work. Also, Willie Garson appears first twice as Leonard Spinelli, Alan's assistance manager, then as Mervyn, who applies for a job at the store Alan opens, and lastly, as the minister who marries Cory and Topanga. He later appears as Topanga's boss in Girl Meets World.

Rider Strong claimed that he loved the leather jacket he wore on the show so much that he didn't want to return it to Disney when the series was over. He took it with him to New York when he went to school but it was stolen out of his car in Brooklyn. Instead of giving it back, he switched it out with another jacket and Disney had no idea.

Goofs
The main characters were in the sixth grade and eleven years old when the series began in Fall of 1993. They should have graduated from high school, therefore, in the year 2000. Instead, two years were missing from their high school careers and the writers had them graduate in 1998. When season 2 began, they were in 7th grade and this was referenced by head bully and repeating senior Harley Kiner. He was known for especially picking on seventh graders and kept reminding Cory of that fact throughout the second season. Somewhere between season's 3 and 4 their year in school became hazy between them being in 8th grade and freshmen in high school.

At one point in high school, as Eric is having a conversation in the hallway, a sign behind him reading "Sex Ed" has in some shots been changed, via graffiti, to read "Sex, Ed?" but not in others.

In the episode "Hair Today Goon Tomorrow" the guy who gives Topanga his card, his hair changes between the shots, in one shot there's a piece of hair in his face and the next it's gone, and then it's back again.

Q
Disney casting for Girl Meets World?
A
It's a Laugh Productions has begun casting female teen series regulars for the new multi-camera Disney Channel series sequel "Girl Meets World". The show will continue where the ABC television sitcom "Boy Meets World" left off back in 2000, however the story jumps ahead to the present. That series ran successfully for seven years beginning in 1993. Auditions are taking place in Los Angeles and will continue through February, 2013 when shooting begins. The extras and stand-ins will be cast closer to the start of shooting in late January/February.Details Here:Disney Casting "Girl Meets World" Series Regularshttp://www.filmtelevisionauditions.com/2012/11/disney-channel-casting-information-for.html2012 Actors Resource Guide eBookshttp://www.actorsresourceguides.com
Q
What happens at the end of the series?
A
Angela leaves for Europe with her father (who will be stationed there) for one year. She and Shawn decided to not say goodbye and instead say "I love you."Jack is cut off from his rich step-fathers money and decides to join the peace corps with Rachel after graduation.Topanga gets a summer internship with the law firm Brown/Elliot (in NYC) and they give her a scholarship to NYU Law School so she can eventually go to work for their firm. Cory initially does not want to go, but realizes it's for the best and helps Topanga feel better about going. Eric decides to move to New York with Cory and Topanga, and Topanga decides Shawn should come with them also.Alan & Amy stayed at their home where they still had Morgan and Joshua to continue raising.Mr. Feeny continued to teach at the college (though a future episode showed him retiring in 2006).In the final moments, before the original four (Cory, Shawn, Topanga & Eric) depart for New York, they find Mr. Feeny in their old elementary/middle school classroom. They ask him if there was anything left for him to teach them, he replies by telling them his work with them is done and they are ready for the world. He then says "Believe in yourselves, dream, try, do good." to which Topanga replies, Don't you mean, 'do well'? and Feeney then asserts, No, I mean, 'do good'. Eric then asks Mr. Feeny to tell him and the others that he loves them, but Mr. Feeny says that "there is a line between teacher and student that must never be crossed." Mr. Feeny does not tell them he loves them, but they all say their sad and heart-felt goodbyes to him. When Mr. Feeny tells Cory that he will remain there, Cory tells him that he will always be with them, as long as they live. After the four leave the classroom, Mr. Feeny says "I love you all... class dismissed" and leaves the room.Partially because the actors (and presumably, off-camera, the crew) were so emotional and partially because show creator/director-of-the-final-episode Michael Jacobs wanted to capture all the real emotions of the actors, the final scene was done in one take.
