Goofs
At the beginning of the "You Can't Stop the Music" song finale, the Village People are shown from the front. The cop is on the far left, next to the cowboy. In the very next shot, as they're being shown from the back, the cop is between the Indian and the Biker.

When Sam is at home with Jack and the Indian, she walks holding a spray bottle up to a plant. While she walks the shadow of the boom mic appears on the top of the wall.

Quotes
Alicia Edwards: Alexander, you're so shy that people just forget. Listen, you've got to come out of your shell or you'll be leading that singing group in Washington Square for the rest of your life and everything else will just pass you by.

Helen Morell: I had no idea this was happening! Something told me, go, be with Jackie tonight, and my god! It's a show business first!

Benny Murray: Nice ta meetcha' Miss Edwards...

Q
Did Bruce Jenner really turn down the role of Superman to appear in Can't Stop the Music?
A
No. Jenner was never offered the role of Superman, but was offered an audition. The book The Making of Superman by David Michael Petrou and a February 1980 People Magazine article state clearly that Jenner tested for, but was never offered, that role.
