This show was announced to be returning for the 2003-2004 season on Fox after "The Bernie Mac Show", in which the remaining produced episodes would have aired. However, Fox never aired the episodes as scheduled.

During the last episode of the season/series, halfway through, Fox broke in with breaking news, the start of the Iraq war.
