Trivia
When Jerry and Alice are at Jerry's apartment, he makes a mention of an Oliver Stone and President Bush connection, calling him "their spokesman". 11 years later, Stone directs 'W. (2008/I)', a biographic film on the life of former president George W. Bush, son of also-former president George Bush.

As an introductory prank on his leading lady, Mel Gibson famously dispatched a gift-wrapped, freeze-dried rat to Julia Roberts prior to commencement of this shoot.

Goofs
When Alice is in Dr Jonas' office and the camera is on her (and from behind Jonas), after he says "then you can judge who and what I am" you can clearly see that Jonas is still talking after the end of the sentence.

When Jerry stops the car in the middle of the bridge, the view from the front angle camera shows the last car in front of them to get through was a blue Honda Civic. When the scene switches to a rear camera, it's now a red mid-size car.

Jerry and Alice leave the Queensboro Bridge towards Connecticut in broad daylight; a few minutes later when they cross under an interstate highway intersection in the Bronx it is pitch black dark. The two points are only about 20 min apart.
