Trivia
Speaking on Nerdist podcast #489, Neil deGrasse Tyson said that "[the show will be airing] on Sunday night [9 March 2014], in prime time after it had been promo'ed during the Super Bowl, Fox had the Super Bowl, after it had been promo'ed during the World Series in the bottom of the seventh inning in game 3 on Saturday night, and it is airing on 171 stations around the world in 45 languages. Any one of those sentences is a mind-blow, the fact it is all happening together is a stunning statement that there is a recognition by forces that be that science deserves to be mainstreamed."

Q
Will watching this series earn me a B.Sc? How about at least a GED?
A
No. Watching this series will not earn you any qualification. Freshman science teachers *might* present this series in class and offer participation marks which will contribute to your final grade in that class only. This series is designed to appeal to as broad an audience as possible without employing nudity. If you already possess a degree of any kind related to the content of this series, you may of course allow yourself a little smugness, but try to keep in mind 12 year olds are also watching, and this series is as much for them as for you. It's the good bits out of the primers. So while you may very well know more than the show is presenting, you're essentially bragging that you're more knowledgeable than a 7th grader. Take your bow, but make it a quick one.
