QWhy were the policemen alive and driving around?
AWe are not told why the police officers shown were driving around. Although it seems likely they were driving around to kill any zombies, you would think that they would go around in bigger groups or that the army could do the job instead (like Shaun of the Dead). Also, they got Space on his hands and knees straight away, seem inexperienced, and it would seem strange that they were interested in people looting, rather than finding survivors. However, they were possibly alive because the police may have blocked the police station off from the zombies.
QHow did the infection get to the Big Brother studio?
APippa's mother was being brought to the studio by a production runner, when a zombie fatally attacked the driver. As the runner drove to the studio for medical help, with Pippa's mother nursing the driver's wounds, he returned to life, attacking both women.A security guard at the studio came to check the car, but was subsequently attacked. Injured, he stumbled mindlessly into the Big Brother eviction crowd, looking for help. Presumably, he died and returned to life, attacking the crowd and spreading the infection throughout.Meanwhile, a zombie chased Kelly's lover into the gallery, subsequently killing and infecting almost all of the crew members on the show.On the whole, strong security around the house prevented a large number of zombies from dwelling in the studio, until Joplin opens the gates, resulting in the infection of any survivors.
QWhat happened to Riq to get him stranded?
ARiq was driving and got flagged down by a family, the mum pulled out a gun and carjacked him .You don't get to see the the actual crime, just a shot of him pulling up to the family, the woman appeared to have some hidden in her hand by her side. Cut to when he finally gets through to Kelly on her cell, then he tells her about the car jacking.
