Filmed in 18 days at 30 locations throughout Los Angeles, the movie was deemed to controversial by the IFP/West (Independent Film Project) and subsequently was not screened to IFP members.
Cinematographer Neal L. Fredericks also photographed _Blair Witch Project_, The (1999) and the 16mm camera used on that film was also used to photograph the barn sequences and was featured as a prop within the film.
