Both Joe Don Baker and Manning Redwood have been in the James Bond series. Manning in A View to a Kill (1985). And Baker in three films. General Brad Whitaker in The Living Daylights (1987). And CIA agent Jack Wade in GoldenEye (1995) and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997).

Joe Don Baker was so impressed by the script he agreed to a reduced fee to be in the series.

Jedburgh pronounces his name as "Jedburg" throughout. The town of the same name in Scotland, is usually pronounced "Jedburuh", which is the way that his Scottish land lady, Mrs Girvan, pronounces it. (It is also known as "Jeddart" locally)
