This show was originally called "Spivey's Kid Brother", and the Stevens were called the Spiveys. The show was supposed to start on Louis' first day as shown in the episode "A Weak First Week." In it you can see the characters saying "Spivey", not Stevens, with scenes from the pilot being shown in flashback sequences.

In the first episode, whenever a character says the name "Stevens", the audio doesn't match up with the visual because the original name was Spivey.
