Is there a sequel?

Yes. Fable 2 hit the shops last year. It is set centuries from the events of the original, although the hero from the second game is related to the guy from this one.

What's the Sandgoose?

The Sandgoose was a legend within the Fable gaming community that somewher, in some form of desert was a goose, as big as a house that would ask the gamer questions. Unfortunately this rumour was unfounded, the game not even featuring a desert.However the second game does heva a pub called The Sandgoose.
