Trivia
The name of the Detective that Ferris' mother talks to when picking up Jeanie is Stephen Lim (the name can be seen on door when mother exits office.) This is also the name of the First Assistant Director.

The woman playing the accordion on the parade float was a local woman named Vlasta Krsek. She gained a degree of notoriety from the film even appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962). On the show she played and sang the song Twist and Shout which was one of the songs from that famous scene.

Ferris uses the term 'finski' when referring to what he gave the parking lot attendant. Finski is regional dialect for a five dollar bill.

Goofs
The economics teacher (Ben Stein) references the "Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act," but it's actually known as the "Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act."

When Mr. and Mrs. Bueller come home at the end of the day, they find tons of flower arrangements for Ferris in the doorway. But no one was home all day to receive them, except (very briefly) Jeannie. Indeed, Mrs. Bueller was home at lunch tine and there were no flowers then.

When Ferris is running home, his shoes change from dress shoes (saying goodbye to Sloane) to canvas tennis shoes (running down the sidewalk) to running shoes (through his neighbor's house and back yard) and back to dress shoes (confronted by Rooney at the back door).

Quotes
Ferris: [to the camera, after tricking his parents into believing he's sick] Incredible, one of the worst performances of my career and they never doubted it for a second.

Ferris: I'm serious man, this is ridiculous making me wait around the house for you.

Grace: [a while after the first time Rooney yelled at "Sloane's Dad"] Peterson home on line one. And watch your mouth this time.

Q
Is there something during / at the end of credit ?
A
During the credits we see Ed Rooney, in a daze & looking disheveled after his experiences at Ferris' house and failing to catch Ferris, boarding a school bus.At the end of credits, Ferris comes out of the bathroom and tells the audience it's over and that we should go home and then he goes back into the bathroom.
Q
Did Ferris really pass out at 31 Flavors the night before?
A
Presumably, no. Ferris, being a master manipulator, either staged the incident at Baskin-Robbins or else contrived a Chinese whispers (aka "telephone game") line of communication that would, at the point of being formally relaid, turn out sensationalistic and practically untraceable.Similarly, there is mention of Ferris needing a new kidney, which indicates he either passed off several rumors, or engineered one that mutated into several distinct ones.
Q
What songs are featured in the film?
