Nicholas Parsons was originally chosen to play the Gamesmaster, but the application of the facial distortion techniques didn't work properly.

Despite Channel 4 dropping the show, the spin-off magazine of the same name is still being published in the UK by Future Publishing, with only minor design changes over the years since it's companion TV show went off the air.
