A.R.Murugadoss' 2nd Hindi venture, which incidentally is a remake just like his first Hindi Blockbuster, Ghajini.

A.R.Murugadoss had initially planned to make this film in Hindi after Ghajini in 2008 but Akshay got busy with other films and hence he made it in Tamil before as Thupakki and now in Hindi.

Akshay got injured several times during the shoot of this film. One of the times, he injured his foot very badly while jumping down a flight of stairs.

Virat is shown cutting a finger of the terrorist. Later, the terrorist has all his fingers on his hand.

Captain Bakshi's hairstyle changes in several portions of the film.

When the boss of the sleeper cell calls to warn Virat, the cellphone continues to beep during the call.
