It's a running gag that every time somebody wants to use his mobile phone it's hard to get connected. This was a fact here in Groningen about ten years ago, but nowadays even Groningen is connected 24/7.

As Groningen City being just a square mile in this vast piece of land in the Top of Holland, it's just a small token of respect of the country side to celebrate in "the city".

Because most of the series was filmed in the province of Groningen (specifically around the town of Overschild), the first two episodes had a special red carpet premiere on Sunday September 21st 2014 in De Oosterpoort, a theatre in the city of Groningen.
