Unlike most Three Stooges shorts, this one was shot at Darmour Studios. While they were filming, they were presented with the Exhibitor's Laurel Award for being the top two-reel moneymakers of 1948.
Early on, the girls are hiding from "Red and the gang." Joe Palma plays the head of the gang, and his henchman call him "Lefty" when they meet on the street. But in the furniture shop, the girls call Palma "Muggsy."
