Trivia
Lead actor Armand Assante once said of this "I, the Jury" remake around the time of its theatrical release: "You can't do Mike Hammer today like you could thirty years ago. We're making a contemporary version of "I, the Jury". It's not a period piece. So the story not only had to be updated but changed around significantly, and so did the character of Mike Hammer. He's no longer an alcoholic, and he's not some dumb macho creep. He's a guy who fought in Vietnam and then came back to America and found the whole country in a shambles".

The name of the sex therapy institute was the "Bennett Clinic". It was named after the character of psychiatrist Dr. Charlotte Bennett (Barbara Carrera).

Actress Barbara Carrera modeled her character on film noir femme fatales such as Bette Davis in Jezebel (1938) and Barbara Stanwyck in Double Indemnity (1944). Carrera would play a similar role the following year as a bad Bond Girl in Never Say Never Again (1983).

Goofs
When Hammer has coffee with Kalecki on the rooftop, the position of Hammer's coffee cup handle changes between camera angles in the same scene.

When Hammer is attempting to enter the compound, the guards refer to explosives rigged at the fence and along the driveway as "daisy cutters", which are 15000lb general-purpose bombs; they probably intended to say "claymores".

When Hammer kills Dr. Bennett, he shoots her with a .45 automatic. When the camera shows the smoking gun in his hand, the hammer is not cocked. When a .45 automatic is fired, recoil cocks the hammer for the next shot.
