Trivia
When Anton drives the truck to the dance it's actually a stunt double driving because Devon Sawa did not have a license at the time. The switch happens as the camera pans left.

The shirt that Dexter Holland of The Offspring is wearing in the dance scene is AFI, a Californian punk band who started out in 1991.

Q
What are the differences between the Theatrical Version and the Workprint?
A
The workprint of 'Idle Hands' bares much resemblance to the final cut of the film. It is interesting that the workprint contains the alternate ending (or rather, the original ending) which is also featured in the bonus material of various DVD releases. Apart from that, there are no major differences. There is a new scene with Randy's brother and a few short extensions. As for the rest, the workprint in parts contains different music than the cinematic version. A detailed comparison between both versions with pictures can be found here.
