This is the last Karaoke Revolution (2003) video game series to feature cover versions of the songs used in the series. Future installment of the series will use only master recordings for the first time.

This is the first Karaoke Revolution (2003) video game series ever where the player can customize their microphone designs and customize their characters with earrings for both male and female characters and makeups for the female characters. Currently, this Karaoke Revolution (2003) game is the only one that allows the players to add earrings on both male and female characters.

The song "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" which is a song originally performed by Paula Abdul is the only non-cover version out of the 40 song lists for this game. Since Paula Abdul made an appearance in this game, the designers decided to leave the song "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" unchanged in it's original version while the other 39 songs for this game are cover versions.
