Lorna Tolentino was initially tapped to play an important role in this project. She, however, backed out in the last minute - a day before the camera started grinding - due to problem with her contract with ABS-CBN, the rival network of the producing GMA7.

The last Philippine airing was on 6 June 2003.

The role of Ara Mina was originally offered to then GMA star Rica Peralejo. But Rica left the network in favor of rival network, ABS-CBN.
