QWhat is the temperature required to melt steel? How hot does jet fuel burn at?
ASteel melts at 2500 degrees Fahrenheit, 250 more as ore...NIST stated to popular mechanics that the temp reached 1850 degrees inside, which by some scientists evaluations would give it only ten percent of it's strength. Jet-A fuel combusts as low as 420 degrees, but they say it burns at over a thousand degrees from 800-1200 Fahrenheit.
QRetired Marines Major General Smedley D. Butler was noted as being asked to lead a coup against the U.S., what substantiates this?
AGeneral Butler, who may still be the single most decorated Marine in history, has had numerous works about him written and his publicly given speech "War is a Racket," is available on the web as well as downloadable through a link off Wikipedia at this time. It appears Butler, who was a true hero in every sense of the word, not able to receive the Medal of honor they had wanted to give him for bravery under fire as an officer at the time (for dragging an underling soldier out of the field of battle even after he himself was shot), later noted and became a bit of a pacifist, after looking back over his career and discovering that most of his military exploits were supposedly in support of imperialistic actions for U.S. corporations. He later was awarded the medal of honor twice and actually could have had three altogether, though they promoted him to the rank of Captain at the age of 19, which is basically unheard of in modern times.Even after publicly speaking out, he was approached by corporate and monied interests, which offered him supposedly $30 million U.S. dollars, which in 1934, was one heck of a lot of money. They apparently believed everyone has a price and took advantage of this and Butler "played ball," deceiving them so he could bring this before a congressional committee, which actually happened and later apparently confirmed all he had said. It would be convenient for someone to just make this up as a great story if it were not eventually actually confirmed.
QAt The Pentagon site, where are the wings of the aircraft?
AThere is no evidence of them either inside or outside of the building. They had to either be sheared off on impact and be wreckage on the lawn at the site, or buried inside the building, yet they are completely missing and there is no damage to The Pentagon that would have occurred had it been hit by an aircraft with a 124' wingspan. This fact has not been explained nor addressed in any account either official or unofficial, to my knowledge.
