How many of the original "boys" are coming back for this sequel?

The only character from The Lost Boys who returns in The Tribe is Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman). Scenes with Edgar's brother Alan (Jamison Newlander) were apparently filmed but did not survive the cuts. Sam Emerson (Corey Haim) appears with Edgar in a short scene after the ending credits start to roll. A new "boy", Shane Powers, is played by Angus Sutherland, half brother of Kiefer Sutherland who played David in the first movie.

Who are Chris and Nicole Emerson?

According to the official website, Chris (Tad Hilgenbrink) and Nicole (Autumn Reeser) Emerson are Sam Emerson's cousins. However, in the movie, they say that their dad was Michael Emerson (Jason Patric). In the first movie, Michael was Sam's brother, so Chris and Nicole are actually Sam's niece and nephew.

What are the differences between the R-rated version and the Unrated version?

The direct-to-video sequel of the 1987 cult classic has been released as two different versions: a R-rated cut and an Unrated cut are available on DVD.
