One of two feature films that actress Susan Sarandon starred in in 1980. The other was Atlantic City (1980) for which Sarandon received her first Best Actress Academy Award Oscar nomination.
The film's two central characters played by James Coburn and Shirley MacLaine were doctors, actually married doctors. The film was made and released just a couple of years after another medical marriage comedy, House Calls (1978).
