At the funeral ceremony scene, Madea shares that the reason why Kimberly is so angry is because she was raped when she was 12 years old, then she proceeds to give Kimberly words of wisdom to "move on." Tyler Perry (who plays Madea) was molested at a young age by a family friend, and used the same words he used in film to forgive and move on from his offender.
When Cora and Brown are talking to the doctor, Cora picks up her purse and sets it down on the counter behind her. When the camera switches back her purse is sitting on the table between her and Brown again.
