Sixteen minutes before the end of the film, the elder Mr. Finley gives his son Jake a Bachmann "XL Express" H-O gauge toy train set. The father explains that the gift had been purchased 20 years earlier, before Jake's mother died, which would have been in 1990. There is a large sticker on the toy train set that reads, "DVD format video instructions now included with this set." However, DVDs were not developed until 1995 and both DVDs and DVD players were not available on the market until 1997.
