A number of cop comedies of this period such as Police Academy (1984) and Night Patrol (1984) were named after the institution or unit they spoofed. If this had been the case with this movie, it would have likely been titled "Traffic School". The phrase instead formed part of many of the movie's blurbs in English language releases, whilst "Traffic School" was actually the film's title in West Germany.

During the chase sequence when they are entering the Police convention Judge Nedra Henderson can be seen wearing heels, when they leave the convention you can clearly see she is wearing tennis shoes. Later when they are entering the police station to see the Chief she is wearing heels again.
