Lucinda Dickey was cast in the film because she had worked on the "Breakin'" films, which were both directed by Sam Firstenberg, and she had the physical presence to do all the stunts during the film.
The third and final of three "Ninja" movies in the Golan-Globus Cannon Ninja trilogy. The first and second films were Enter the Ninja (1981) and Revenge of the Ninja (1983). All three films were unrelated in terms of story. Cannon also went on to make American Ninja (1985) which spawned its own franchise which went to five movies.
Iin the cemetery the ninja is shown briefly with a sword on his back. He turns quickly, and the other shot shows the sword is gone. He turns back the other way again, and the sword is once again on his back
In the cemetery scene, the evil ninja can be seen sliding down a rope from the trees. She is wearing heavy gloves to protect from rope burn, then the gloves disappear.
