The note that Asha passes to Todd is a page torn from The Kama Sutra. The caption reads "Any posture is unsatisfactory if kissing is impossible."

Goofs
When Todd is being driven to the train station in the rickshaw, his position and the position of his luggage keeps switching back and forth from side to side depending on the location of the camera. To move the luggage alone from side to side would have required lots of effort and there is no leg or headroom to do so.

CST (old Victoria Terminus, the train station in Mumbai from where Todd takes the train) is not in the rickshaw zone, so it is impossible for him to go from the airport to CST by rickshaw.

Q
What was it with the food being passed over the wall?
A
Many well-to-do households in India offer leftover food to the poorer (labourers, orphans, street-kids). In here, there was this well-to-do family the protagonist was staying with. Across the wall was a washermen's colony. The leftovers were passed on for their consumption. This system avoids wastage of food while simultaneously feeding the poorer.Yet, in actual practice, it would not be very nice to offer food from the same plate one has eaten in. Usually, leftover food is collected in separate clean vessels and offered to the poor.
