QWhat is 'Queen of Blood' about?
AIn the far distant year of 1990, the International Institute of Space Technology receives an SOS from an alien vessel saying that they are sending an ambassador to Earth but that the spaceship has crash-landed on Mars. In good faith, the Institute's director, Dr Farraday (Basil Rathbone), dispatches two rescue ships -- the Oceano, carrying three astronauts...Laura James (Judi Meredith), Paul Grant (Dennis Hopper), and Commander Anders Brockman (Robert Boon)...and the Meteor, carrying two more astronauts...Allan Brenner (John Saxon) and Tony Barrata (Don Eitner). When the only survivor turns out to be a beguiling green-skinned woman (Florence Marly) whom they call 'the Queen', the crew takes special care of her on the trip back to Earth. Little do they know that they are bringing with them a vampire.
QWhat was the purpose of the ball that lands in the water?
AThat was the alien spaceship's SOS. The ball contained a videolog of the events that caused their ship to crashland on Mars.
AAllan and Laura return to Earth, after having discovered the pulsing red eggs that the Queen has been depositing all over the ship. When Dr Farrady boards the ship after it lands, Allan attempts to alert him to the danger posed by the alien eggs, but Farrady is too interested in their value to scientific research. Unable to convince Farrady that the eggs are deadly, Allan and Laura leave the ship. In the final scene, the body of the Queen is carried out of the ship followed by a technician carrying a tray of the pulsing red eggs.
