Michael Palin kept the Claw from The Curse of The Claw, before donating it to the Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford (part of the University of Oxford). It is now part of the permanent collection of objects from all around the world. Unfortunately, it is not on public display

The opening title music for the series is "Fanfare" from William Walton's Facade Suite No.2

At least three "Ripping Yarns" were never fully realized. According to Palin and Jones, "The Seawolf", "Rizzo The Wonder Dog" and "Dracula At St.Dominics" were started, but never completed.
