AAfter setting fire to the police lab, Hoffman rushes back to the zoo to find the letter he wrote to Amanda laying on his keyboard, having been placed there by Jill as per John's instructions. Meanwhile, William has made it to the end of his fourth trap only to find his sister Pamela (Samantha Lemole) in one cage and Tara and Brent Abbott in another. When given the choice of allowing William to live or die, Tara chooses 'Die' so that he won't go on killing people, but she cannot pull the switch, so Brent does it for her. Suddenly, William's body is injected with several needles, and hydrofluoric acid is pumped into him. His body disintegrates into a mass of blood and guts. As Hoffman is reading Amanda's letter, Jill enters the room. She presses a remote that zaps Hoffman with electricity until he passes out. She then straps him to his chair by the wrists and places around his neck a Reverse Bear collar. When Hoffman comes to, Jill says, 'Game over,' and closes the door. The clock starts counting down the seconds...45...44...43...Hoffman uses the collar to smash the straps around his wrists...27...26...he lodges the collar against the door to pull it off his head...3...2...1... The collar falls off, ripping open the right side of his mouth.
