In SNOW, the role of Tece is performed by Saba (Writer/Director). To portrait his character over 16 years, Saba changed his hair style and facial hair over 12 times in a period of 4 months. The other few times were done by wearing hats, or Bandana to look different and younger.
SNOW was originally written by Saba as a short film, for his friend Tracy Willet. Because of the length of it, and after a few re-shoot days, the movie became the first Cloudy Sky Films feature film.
Joy Kim, Millinery Designer in New York City, met Saba through a dance class. After working on the short film, "About A Week," and designing one hat for one of the characters, she was hired to work on the design of all the hats in "SNOW".
