Trivia
In the film there is a scene where three Datsun Z-cars are seen driving on a surface which looks similar in design to a Copacabana Beach sidewalk - this particular location is part of the Hyatt Regency Orange County (which initially opened in May 1986 as the Alicante Princess Hotel in Garden Grove, California). After the film's release, the hotel's operator terminated its business association with Princess Cruises in response to poor revenue stemming from low occupancy rates due to its location away from Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. The hotel became part of the Hyatt Corporation where it was rebranded as the Hyatt Regency Alicante after July 1987.

After the truck gets blown up, Pham Van Kwan goes up to the truck looking to kill Steele, then we see Steele's snake "3 Steps", but you can clearly see that it's fake and there's a string tied to it, even when it bites Pham Van Kwan the string is still visible.
