Sir Richard Turkel: Richard Turkel, August 15th, 1948, Day: 262. Nine months of digging, finally an entrance has been discovered. My hunch proved correct that along this secluded stretch lie a series of tombs but who would be buried here? A Pharaoh I presume? Hidden Safely from ancient thieves. Today We uncover the truth!

Q
What are the differences between the US Theatrical Version and the Director's Cut?
A
Director Russel Mulcahy made this B-Movie with a budged of 8 million dollars in the year 1998. Besides the theatrical version there also exists a Director's Cut Version which was extended with a few scenes that (usefully) evolve the story further. In the USA only the short version has been released. In total there are approx. 43 differences with an overall runtime of 23 minutes. A detailed comparison between both versions with pictures can be found here.
