Trivia
Near the end of the movie, there's a confrontation with a newly-minted Terminator with Arnold Schwarzenegger's face. However, Schwarzenegger didn't shoot anything for this movie; the effects team scanned his face from a previous film and applied the result to the stunt double. The result is a character with a much younger face than Arnold possesses today.

Each Terminator film has been produced under a different company. The Terminator (1984) was produced by Hemdale and went through Orion, Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) went through Carolco and Tri-Star (which was owned by Columbia), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) was produced by C-2 Pictures and distributed through both Warner Bros. (Domestic release) and Columbia Pictures (international release), and Terminator Salvation (2009) was produced by The Halcyon Company and distributed through both Warner Bros. (Domestic release) and Columbia Pictures (international release).

The trick with keeping a shotgun attached around the arm that Marcus shows Kyle Reese, is used by the older Kyle Reese played by Michael Biehn at the beginning of the original The Terminator (1984), after he saws off the butt to shorten the shotgun he stole from the police squad car.

Goofs
There are two typographical errors in the end credits. Labor Foreperson is misspelled "Forperson", similarly later on Site Foreperson has the same spelling error.

When the giant robot is hit by the gas truck, his ship hovering in the background disappears and re-appears between shots.

When Marcus and Kyle have found their first abandoned vehicle and just got it started, they are all inside and the windscreen is covered in mud or dust which means it's going to be pretty difficult to see out. However, as they are attacked and have to drive off in an instant, the windscreen (seen from the outside) is suddenly crystal clear.

Q
What is that song in the final trailer?
A
"The Day the World Went Away" by Nine Inch Nails. It can be heard on the fourth studio album The Fragile (1999).
Q
Who is Marcus?
A
Marcus was a criminal who was executed in 2003. He donated his body to Project Angel, which was involved with Skynet. They take his body and make him into a Terminator; Marcus is probably the most human cyborg Skynet created, a prototype endoskeleton, the frame is not mentioned (he is NOT a T-800, the chest plate when shown is completely different as well as his hand seen in the end, also he is smaller in height) Marcus still possesses his heart and brain with a chip at the base of his skull that wirelessly connects him directly to Skynet.
Q
Are there any additional scenes after the credits?
A
No.
