In the middle of the song Superman - music directors Sajid-Wajid have used the vocals of Hip-Hop rapper Lil Jon. Lil Jon can be heard screaming his famous "WHAT" line. This phrase has been used in a lot of the rapper's songs.

This is the fourth remake of the Telugu film Okkadu (2003), it has previously been remade in Tamil as Ghilli (2004), in Kannada as Ajay and in Bengali as Jor (2008)

Shruti K. Haasan who has a special appearance in the song Madamiyan, has also sung the song Joganiyan for the film.
