Scooby Doo

The first show in which Tom Ruegger worked in a producer position (associate producer). His influence on this show can be seen in how similar the humor and tone of the show is to his later work on A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (1988), Tiny Toon Adventures (1990), and Animaniacs (1993).

This was the only Scooby-Doo series to feature a kid (Flim Flam) being a member of the Mystery, Inc. gang.

For this series, Daphne and Shaggy were given new ('80s-style) re-designs. This was the only time Daphne appeared with hers, but Shaggy sported his new look in not only this series, but also in the three TV-movies (Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers (1987), Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf (1988), and Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School (1988)) that aired in the late '80s.
