This movie bears a superficial resemblance to a 1953 British TV series "A Place of Execution". In a British colony in Asia, a suspected terrorist has been tried, convicted, and sentenced to death. The terrorist group kidnaps the British governor's daughter, Caroline, and threaten to kill her if the execution proceeds. Her lover, Ferrell, rescues her just in time.

Goofs

During the attack on Ng's jungle camp, an SAS trooper uses a dagger to kill a Communist/Terrorist insurgent. No soldier would use a knife in a gun battle. Silence is not needed and any other SAS troopers firing on the CT might hit the SAS trooper with the knife by accident.

At the start of the movie, during the Japanese surrender, Ferris tells Trumphey that the British are five years too late implying that the MPAJA insurgents have been fighting the Japanese alone for that time. Since the war in Asia started in December of 1941 and ended in 1945, Ferris' statement is off by one and a half years.
