John Astin who voices Gomez Addams in this family, had played Gomez in the original The Addams Family (1964) series.

This is the second animated series of the Addams Family.

According to Rob Paulsen, during one particular recording session Carol Channing was wearing a heavily-starched white shirt which unfortunately kept interfering with the recording. After several blown takes the 71-year old iconic actress announced, "Oh, for chrissake you've all seen it before." She then removed her shirt and proceeded to perform the role of Grandmama Addams in her bra for the entire episode.

Mr. Normanmeyer: [Fester and Gomez are knocking on his door, he rips the door off and hands it to his son] Quick son, take this around to the back and burn it.

Gomez Addams: Race you to the swamp, last one there's a fresh egg.

Uncle Fester: Hey Granny, did you fall down the stairs?
