At the time, Patrick Macnee said the shooting script was much better than half the scripts he had to perform from the run of the TV series. (That being said, the shooting script differs radically from what ended up on screen.)

Diana Rigg was sent the script with a view to her playing Alice. She passed.

Goofs
When Emma Peel takes the teddy bear costume head off of Penrose's corpse his face is already covered in snow. There's no visible means for snow to enter the costume head.

Steed wears the wrong type of hat. A gentleman's bowler hat is rather curlier around the edge, as in _The Avengers (TV Series 1961–1969)_.

When Steed and Mrs. Peel are drinking tea in the car, from the way the sun shines through the cups it is clear that there is no liquid in the cups.

Q
Who was the Evil Emma? Was she a clone or a robot?
A
In the script, the Bad Emma is a clone manufactured by DeWynter. (There's a passing reference to his business interests including cloning.) However, given her robotic behavior and seemingly indestructible nature, many people assumed she was some sort of android. (An episode of the original series, "Never, Never Say Die" features indestructible androids, and some fans assumed the movie was referring to that.)
Q
Did Roger Lloyd Pack Appear in This Film?
A
Not in the cut we have circulating today. He filmed a role as a scientist but if this footage was destroyed or simply cut is not currently known.
Q
Is There a Plan to Release a Directors Cut?
A
Despite the massive amount of cut footage which would explain the plot holes and probably boost interest, Warner Brothers have no current plan to release a directors cut.
