When Vinnie Jones's character takes the MP-5 or whatever that is and says "Merry Christmas", is that an homage to Die Hard's "Ho ho ho, now I have a machine gun"?
A
Doubtful. More than likely he was just happy to receive a superior weapon and gave himself a 'Merry Christmas'. In other words, He was just happy to have that weapon. Nice eye, though.More likely a subtle reference to the fact that he was in on it from the start. Remember the master-mind said "time to give them their christmas presents" and then the helicopter dropped the back with guns etc.
Q
Where does Conrad (Steve Austin) get the roll of duct tape that he uses to attach the metal reinforcement rods to his forearms?
A
If you watch closely while Conrad is in the tower making the phone call, he picks up the roll of duct tape right after the power is cut.
